Are you measuring the current out of the power supply? Or is that the current displayed on the K2?

If it is the current from your power supply, then I suggest that you re-check the bias adjustment for the KPA100. See the KPA100 manual for the procedure.

Yes, the additional 4 amps at 11 watts is unusual, and an incorrect bias setting could produce that.

When I set K2 to 20 watts, it consumes approx. 8 amps.
30 watts: 10 amps
50 Watts: 12 amps

Is that normal or is something wrong with my KPA100?
