  Yes, and that is a military power supply...I would think they (Read US Gov't) 
 have the funds and brain power to do this...Good work Matt...Study that old K2 
schematic and see what you can do that the "brain power" on the West coast 
(Elecraft) haven't already or at least "figured out". I would think there are 
purposes for everything. I happen to think the K2 is perfect for my apps and 
purposes. I bet that new fangled rig that they're coming out with is gonna be 
better. Just an educated guess from an ex-Mil person that also has tried and 
failed with such.....Oh, some did succeed and are presently in use on a foreign 
soil. Let us know how you do with the re-design too. Let Aptos know the secret.
