I may have missed one of the posts or FAQs, if so someone will no doubt put
me right.
Does the K3 use I/Q processing for the final IF so that the image 30kHz away
from the wanted signal is suppressed?
I have a high power 23cm beacon on my doorstep at 100dB above noise in
2.4kHz, and would like to use the K3 as a high performance IF rig for
distant beacon monitoring, hence my interest. The roofing filter alone may
not offer enough protection when listening 30kHz away.
