I was looking at the K3 pix and have a few questions
while I wait the 7 days....maybe a field tester can clue me in...

What displays do you get when you press and/or hold the disp/meter
button? What does that button do?

Tapping the DISP button switches between displays in the VFO B area. So you can see the VFO B frequency, or the time, date, voltage, current, etc. Holding it is the METER function, which provides alternate displays for metering, used for adjusting the audio gain and compression.

What is the cvp control?

If you mean CMP. This is the Compression adjustment for SSB.

Or maybe you mean the CWT button, that's CW Tuning, which provides a display that shows you how close you are to zero beat on CW and how close you are to correct tuning on RTTY. It also enables the CW autotune function, which brings you to zero beat when you tap SPOT (I think this will also be functional on RTTY, but it isn't yet).

What happens with the NB and NR buttons?
I assume a push turns them on/off, what does hold do, what display changes do you get, options?

Holding allows you to adjust the various parameters that control the aggressiveness, levels, and timings for the NB and NR functions. You will also be able to select the analog (hardware) and digital (DSP) noise blankers.
