May I be so bold as to ask what
software you use for documentation?

I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around having a brand new
K3 to play with, and having to take it apart and photograph the
assembly. OUCH!

The manual is written using Microsoft Word. Illustrations are done with
CorelDraw and photos edited using Corel PhotoPaint (Ver 12).

I received a shiny new pre-production K2 in late June. Turned it on to see
that the panel lit up, then immediately tore it down to start work. It's
sitting on the bench next to me right now, front panel glowing - a bit
reproachfully if I might say - with the top still off and a dummy load on
the antenna jack. One of these days It'll actually make a QSO, but not
before most of you who have waited so patiently have your K3's assembled and
on the air!
