Hi Bill,
I've added the 1.8 kHz 8 pole filter plot to the web page. Its 6 dB b/w
is 1.913 kHz and the shape factor is 1.5
We just measured the following in the lab:
The 200 Hz 5 pole filter -6 dB b/w is 224 Hz (200 Hz at -3 dB). Its
shape factor is 4.0.
The 500 Hz 5 pole filter -6 dB b/w is 565 Hz (465 at -3 dB). Its shape
factor is 3.1.
The 2700 Hz 5 pole filter -6 dB b/w is 2.91 kHz (2.71 at - 3 dB). Its
shape factor is 2.9.
As one would expect, the shape factors of the 5 pole ladder filters are
broader than the 8 pole filters.
