Both FedEx and USPS have worked well for me this year for material sent from the States. If Elecraft uses these shippers and Lisa (Elecraft) gives you a "Tracking number" you can follow the shipment on-line. The part of the journey which takes most time in my experience is from the UK port of entry to Scotland which is handled by Parcel Force, e.g. 3 days from the West Coast USA to the UK, 5 working days from England to Scotland. Once the shipment has cleared UK Customs and with the tracking number to hand, the Parcel Force depot from which the shipment will be delivered to you can be contacted by 'phone, and any chages owing can be paid by bank or credit card. If the Parcel Force depot is not named, Parcel Force will send you a letter containing this information and the depot's 'phone number.
