Good Evening All

I have started construction of my K2 and have accidentally damaged the 40 pin
IC socket for the Control board microcontroller IC.

While removing a stray piece of solder from one of the contacts, I bent one of
the wiping contacts in the top of the socket.

Is it better to remove and replace the whole socket (it is soldered in place
now), or can I bend it back into shape without doing any damage to it. I don't
want to cause a long term problem with the IC by leaving a possible bad contact
?

Any thoughts please.
