Pete, >From my very limited experience ( a couple days so far), it is a fine rig for PSK modes. There are others with lots of experience and opinions, whom I'm sure will give you more details. I put mine on PSK31 using just a laptop PC and a bunch of cables from radio shack. Hardest part was wiring up an audio input through a mic plug.
