My fuzzy memory tells me that this has been discussed before on the reflector. I recall that the Logger32 author has his reasons for doing it that way, but I just don't remember why - but I do recall that it was controversial.

Perhaps someone will want to comb the archives. I don't use Logger32, so my interest is only in passing along this information.
