One would hope that such restriction would only be applied to K3s going to countries which *require* such restrictions. I wonder about DXpeditions to such countries. How Elecraft plan on handling this? I can well understand Elecraft's desire to block the CB/Freeband frequency range. BTW are they actually required to do this in the States? Hopefully the restrictions do not apply to the transverter interface, for greater flexibility in the use of transverter IFs.
