My daughter lives in San Diego...she doesn't have to evacuate...yet. Her emails tell me that her regular phone, doesn't work, they are not using cell phones because the emergency crews use cell phones to communicate, and several friends of hers are packing up.

The last line of the email said "Guess I should have gotten my license years ago."
