In my leisure time while designing a new rocket or mindlessly playing solitaire I like to scan the band. The K3 and K2 both have the scan muted as the default. With the K2 I made up several macros in MixW to scan various bands. In each case after I start to scan I have to stop scanning and hold down one of the function keys that have been pre-programmed to scan for the 2 second duration in order to get un-muted scan. As far as I can see in the new programming notes for the K3 there is no means to bypass holding down the scan button for 2 seconds to get an un-muted scan or any means to get a 2 second button push through a program command. I know that this is a little picky at this point but somewhere down the line would it be possible to either make a programming command for the 2 second button push or reverse the default scan mode in via a menu setting?
