Last Friday I QSOed Ken, K0PP who has a friend that ordered his K3 at
Visalia early on April 27 (the day of the announcement) at Visalia. His
friend has just received notice that his K3 will be shipping soon .. I
assume this week. Ken also ordered his K3 on April 27 soon after his friend
did but (as of last Friday) had not heard from Aptos. That should give you
a pretty good clue as to your chances of taking a K3 to Hawaii.

I'm eager because I'd like to take it to KH6 for CQWW CW which falls
on the following weekend (of course, I could pick it up from Aptos,
since I live in Santa Cruz) :)
