Don't worry, Knut, the K3 powers up in a little over two seconds, and
that won't change.
We wrote our own OS, optimized for radio use. No Windows :)

Sounds good Wayne. Just a word of caution: Don't make the POST so big
and time-consuming that it's like booting a Windows machine when
turning the radio on.
