I have avoided cluttering up the reflector with opinions and chit chat but I feel compelled to throw in my $.02 worth. Ken, you are spot on. We are indeed spoiled. We can now buy best-of-breed products from a company that is driven by innovation and excellence. One where you can directly and quickly communicate with the designers and decision makers both before and after the purchase. And they actually listen and take action. What a concept! For those folks who are getting frustrated by the long wait for their K3, I would urge you to continue to hang in there. Fifteen years ago I ordered one of the first Alpha 87A amplifiers. It took 18 months to get it. My SteppIR antenna took 7 months. Both products are unique and truly stellar. The wait is now just a memory but the enjoyment continues every day. Really good things are worth waiting for. And really good companies are too. Just my $.02 worth .... Ron - W2RIP

(;-) We're probably too accustomed to the Aptos folks being able to meet (almost) everyone's wish-list items, regardless of how obscure. Perhaps I can build an adapter box and "sticky-tape" it to the rear of my K3, and a "Y" phono cable will solve the CW foot switch / SSB PTT matter. 73!
