Not in monetary terms, though as it's an open source project I can contribute in other ways. But you miss the point. Lazarus is a better choice than professional development for amateur programmers for a number of reasons it is not appropriate to go into here. The price tag is almost immaterial (though it's unfortunately true that products like Delphi now cost hundreds of dollars putting them beyond the reach of a hobbyist.) If people had just said "try HRD, it's a great program" I would not have seen anything to object to.
