You might want to adjust your computer system clock to the current date
and time. Your messages are getting through but appearing a couple of
days in the past, so you might not be seeing them where you expect them.

Time and date are correct. Synched to an NTP server hosted by MIT.
I went into the reflector maintenance URL and removed membership and
then started from scratch. Got the official welcome and everything.
