This is a bit off-topic, although I'm asking in the context of the K3 operating software I'm writing (more info on this at www.g4ilo.com/kcommunicate.html .) My program will keep a log of contacts made with it in MixW log format, because that's what I'm already using. If you use MixW already you will even be able to use the same log file. However, not everyone will want to use MixW for log management. At the same time I have no interest in adding full log analysis and contest scoring capabilities to my program. I don't chase awards and only enter contests for fun so I don't really have any experience in how those requirements might be met.
Is it possible to operate using one program (e.g. mine) and then export the log via say an ADIF file into another logging software in order to manage your award-chasing, contest scoring or whatever? If so, does anyone have any suggestions? -- Julian, G4ILO K2 s/n: 392 K3 s/n: ???
