I know Ron GW3YDX (vinecom.co.uk) regularly uses the 1k amp in
contests etc so has first hand experience.
I use my K2 occasionally with my ACOM 1000 very satisfactorily, this
amp is a masterpiece (all 5 reviews in Eham.net) but I sometimes wonder
about the continuing supply of replacement tubes?
