Gentlemen- It now says on the elecraft website that the second run will be shipping starting the end of the month. I thought I'd need counciling , but alas my K3 may soon ship after six months of Zen patience. I read that buyers prior to May 14th who gave deposits were given the first available radios.
The next sentence says that those who gave deposits right after that will not be given any consideration...*but we do appreciate the support! * That doesn't sound fair. I gave my vote of confidence and support by leaving my $750 deposit for six months. I'm sure our deposits gave some comfort to the Wayne and the gang. It wouldn't take any effort to have the second run shipping prioritized by date *and deposit status*. What seemed fair at first -suddenly doesn't matter any more? What changed? I thought I'd be getting that happy email in a few days, but now it could be another month. My hope-o-meter just reset to zero again. I feel like I've walked the 12 stations of the cross waiting for this radio. Breathe...Breathe....the sands of time eternally marching on...*hold on just a little longer.....* I'd wait till I'm on my death bed for this radio....OK...*a week before I was on my death bed*.
