I thought I saw a message on this board from Eric or Wayne on this subject a few weeks ago. They stated the transmit siginal would be 'cleaner' using the 2.8 filter. Hope you guys figure this out, my K3 is on order and I need to decide which filter to get. At this point I ordered the 2.8. It would be nice if Elecraft would drop the 2.7 and offer only the 2.8, but not at $90 more.... maybe $40 more.
