Larry,
The element in the Elecraft Heil Proset K2 is neither the HC4 nor the
HC5 (these are low output dynamic elements). It is a Heil electret
element and I believe is also used in several of the Heil microphones
for the Icom transceivers.
With Heil microphones, one must be careful to specify which one - there
are many different types available, they are not all interchangable, nor
do they have the same characteristics.
