Can do the job easily in one go using a 'Grabber' held in one hand, about as difficult as holding a pen and WITHOUT the risk of losing a washer, screw or whatever. The tool was also stocked by RS (Radio Spares) at one time, their stock number 537-293 and described as a Retrieving Tool. After starting to thread the screw (with washer) using the Grabber, the job is completed with a screwdriver. The tool can also be used to hold a screw and washer in place while the mating nut is threaded onto the screw with a nutdriver ( assuming Clinch Nuts are not being used) to illustrate just one of the many other jobs that can be handled.

Standard disclaimers apply, a satisfied user long converted from magnetic methods!

If its magnetic, will the washer remain on the screw whilst
on the head of the screwdriver? If so can do job in one go
- hopefully.
