Gentlemen: I don't recall any questions (or answers) about having the K3 initiate an external antenna tuner, like the LDG RT-11 or perhaps one of the Icom or SGC external tuners. Did I miss this in the myriad of postings? I don't see it on the Yahoo forum or the FAQ.
So the questions are: will the K3 be able to use the tune button to initiate an external antenna tuner? If so, what are the particular pins on the accessory jack to supply this tune button-initiated action? Can this occur on one coax output while still using (or not using) the internal tuner on another? Can it use an external tuner if the internal one is not installed? Will the K3 VFO (or it's memories) remember that tuner (internal or external) and antenna connector output the next time it's chosen?
