You could of course hang an SDR on the IF out of the K3, then you get the best of both worlds ;-) My SDR-14 works great with the K3 73 Brendan EI6IZ -- Don‘t complain. Nobody will understand. Or care. And certainly don‘t try to fix the situation yourself. It‘s dangerous.
