My biggest problem with the K2, is that not everyone has them (or a K3). I find I can dig down in the dirt and pull out signals, but then the other end seldom can hear me. Admittedly I am only running 100w and a dipole. Even if I had a beam, I get the feeling I could hear more than I can work. But then I would need an amp so they could hear me....hmmmmm....well, they will probably be pretty cheap at the top of the cycle. People will probably be throwing them away.
