A question for those with an XV144 please. How do you manage the 'Local Oscillator Power Control'? And do you have the XVOVN (crystal oven)? Of the 3 power control options, which do you use (JP9, 1-2, 2-3, 4-5)?
Do you have the oven? Does anyone find they need to leave the oven on all the time to achieve best stability? If the XV144 is not used that often, would it be better to turn the crystal and the oven off when the XV144 is not in use?
