I have ANT1 connected to my SG-237 and the ATU in BYPASS. I crank the power right down and HOLD [TUNE] - I see some high SWR sometimes (15:1), but pretty quick, the SWR comes down to 1.1:1 or thereabouts. Then I crank the power back up again.
I find this works very well, only thing I'd like would be a one touch function to do all that while I hold it and then when I release it, the power goes back up.
