I too am a Life Member...so I can't deprive them of my money. I suspect your outlook is a realistic one...since the ARRL Board is a mirror of American politics...there are not enough unhappy voters to make a difference.

How about ARRL beer...it could be sold as the real, official, approved 807.

Think of it...hundreds of hams at Dayton with Call Sign adjustable hats, ARRL rings, sucking down 807s as they charge things to their ARRL branded plastic money.
