very FB.  a lot of us took the K2 plunge to enjoy the
building experience, and using a fine radio we built
afterwards.  focus on getting the correct parts in
place and making good solder joints - and do the
intermediate checkouts.  when part ID is confusing ask
for help.  make sure your tools are up to the job.  

i enjoyed my stock/QRP K2 for many years on various
modes.  be glad yours has the mods built-in as my
older K2 has a bunch of jumper wires.  see where your
journey takes you with yours.
