All:
MANY responses - most like the idea, but do not like the additional current
draw. For a KX1, the current should be nil (if possible!); for the K1 (and K2
and K3), I (me-own-self) am willing to 'take the hit' of a few more mA. If it
is an *option* (like the KDSP2), you can add it - or not - at home, use it with
mains power, remove it for field use on batteries.
And, as suggested, an 'outboard' device might be the answer (in the 'mean
time').

Just my $.02 (BTW, what is that in EU's?)

Thanks for all the responses... I have a lot more research to do.

Hi,

Besides the "current" issue, has anyone used this device? My limited
experience with audio DSP's (GAP's "Hear It" inline module) is that they
work reasonably well for moderate to strong signals. But, when you get
into the low signal strength area and high noise, the seem to "cut out"
parts of the signal. Moderate and strong signals are okay.

    Any comments?

    Regards,
