One thing I miss. On the K2, ATU bypass was CAL S, so I got a digital SWR reading when I was tuning. That was handy because it is much easier to detect the perfect match using a digital readout than trying to detect the null in the reflected power meter of the tuner. In ATU BYPASS mode the K3 doesn't display the SWR, though presumably it's still measuring it so the PA can protect itself from extreme mismatches in bypass mode. ----- Julian, G4ILO K2 s/n: 392 K3 s/n: 222 G4ILO's Shack: www.g4ilo.com Zerobeat Ham Forums: www.zerobeat.net/smf -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/K3-from-100W-to-QRP-tp14870358p14885517.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [email protected] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
