For those of you tracking, I can FINALLY make a K3 (kit version) report from Houston. I placed my order with 50% deposit on May 7th. I later sent in the second 50% during the summer when I thought K3s were about to ship. It left Aptos today and I will be building it tomorrow. I'll let you know the serial number when the shipment arrives...assuming I get up from assembly long enough to send an email. Watching the Fedex Tracking update website is like watching grass grow at this point. I may be able to have it ready for the NAQP SSB contest this weekend. I hate SSB, but I'm dieing to put the K3 in a contest. Besides, the 500 Hz filters were backordered, so I'm not quite ready for battle on CW yet. ;-) See you on the bands soon...if I don't fumble finger something!
