I am using a Pelican 1520 to hold the K2 (occupies about 40% of the case) plus battery, tuner, etc. to make a "shack in a box" that even the airlines haven' t manage to kill. Cost, using "www.cases4less.com delivered to Atlanta by UPS ground was under $100 last September. Built like a tank and worth every penny. Yes, I know that there are many substitutes available that may work as well but if you have an actual "Pelican Case," then I'd like to hear which model / size that you got and who has them at a favorable price. I enjoy operating in the NC mountains and it rains during most of my trips so a watertight seal and not just a hard case is a necessity.
