You bet! I have a laptop with Vista Home Basic and the K3 Utility program works great.

Remember, a key to the success of updating the K3 is how it is connected to the computer. If you use an RS232 - USB adapter (ours or anyone else's) always make sure they have the correct drivers (see the K3 Utility "Help" file for details).

Also, if you use a USB "hub", it should be externally powered with a "wall wort". Hubs that use the host pc for power are usually underpowered and can cause download failures.
