I was planning on running this past my wife once I got my K3... I'm sure she'll hook me up with a good solution. Being a mechanical engineer she's actually got a paper copy in her office as well.... :)
Funny thing is I'm probably one of very few guys here that when the K3 shows up my wife will be fighting me on who gets to put it together. :) She was actually the one that wound all the torroids for my K1... If she comes up with something really good I'll be sure to share. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Don Wilhelm Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2008 7:03 PM To: DOUGLAS ZWIEBEL Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Elecraft] K3 plastic knurled knobs Doug, You 'cheated' and looked at their website - I am the proud recipient of a paper McMaster-Carr catalog - it is now 7 years old and it took 3 years of requests to get it. They do have a lot of good hardware stuff and provide great service. 73, Don W3FPR DOUGLAS ZWIEBEL wrote: > http://www.mcmaster.com/nav/enter.asp?pagenum=3046 > > 91185A221 > (Same as 91185A233) > Plastic-Head Thumb Screw Black Knurled Head, 4-40 Thread, 1/4" Length > In stock at $8.43 per Pack > 25 per Pack > > This is "as per Don."
