ARRL DX Contest, my $0.02 worth:

I was trying out the N1MM logger for the first time in a big contest. I used a K2 at 5 Watts and dipoles for various bands. Total: 402 QRP QSOs, about 200 on 20 m, a handful on 15 m, and about 100 each on 80 and 40. Most exciting moment: working VP6DX on 80 m QRP.

As several posters have noted, the low sunspot activity (and the unfortunately poor geomagnetic conditions) were very telling. Conditions this year were far worse than the previous three years. Without the K2 mojo, I do not know where we would be. (My coastal QTH is a big help too.)
