When I got home from work yesterday I installed some supports for the open wire feedline to keep it off the ground (short 4-ft T-posts with a 5-ft PVC sleeve). I splieced in the feedline (did not have time to solder it - thats today). The 240 ft doublet is fed into the BL2 and then to the K3. The tuner had no problem tuning it on all bands, 160-6M. I proceeded to work VP6DX on 30 CW and RTTY and also got them on 160. I had one radio set to get them on 40 SSB and the other on 80 CW, But for 3 straight hours it was EU ONLY. Needless to say there was frustration! But was glad to get them on 160.
