The box I received my kit in is just a plain box, no customized shock absorbers that would hold and protect the completed radio. I move mine around in a padded back pack but a pelican case or similar would also a solution.
I wish radios would be delivered with a protective bag. If you ever buy the Italian SPE Expert 1K amplifier you will find that it is delivered with a nice looking and well padded bag.
