Go for the kit! Unless you have eyesight problems or two left thumbs you should have zero problems following the assembly manual.

I did the math, I saved $370.00 by screwing the thing together myself. That's enough to pay for three 8-pole filters, or 92.5% of the cost of the 100W PA.

Assembling the K3 is so simple a caveman could do it. It took me about 6 hours to build; if anyone doesn't have that small amount of time to spare, how will they ever find time to *use* the thing? ;-)
