I would point out that in order to work DXpeditions such as VP6DX on CW, realistically, all that is required is the ability to recognize your own call. Your report will be "5NN" or, perhaps "599". Your response is something like "TU 5NN BK" or "QSL 5NN BK" or just "5NN BK", easily stored in a memory. If you have the K3 cw decode ability you may not even need to recognize your call! Do I approve of this type of operation? Not really but anyting that encourages cw operation is a plus.
