There was an Elecraft SSB Net. While trying to make contact with the NCS I
finally tried CW and met a few other Elecraft operators. Not too many weeks
later I started ECN. I am not sure what happened to the folks who started the
voice net but propagation was going downward at that time. You may want to
look in the Reflector archives around April or May of 2003. ECN started on
June 7th, 2003 with VE1RGB, W0CZ, & N5IB checking in to the first session.
Maybe N5IB remembers the voice net details better than I have.
