The one thing that seems not to have been explicitly stated is that the
Line-In-Only configuration will still be an option after the Line-In+Mic
option is added. Please confirm that this is a feature ADDITION, not a feature
CHANGE.

This has been requested by many of our customers. It allows the use of
"Voice Keyer" software running on a PC, for example, to save your
voice calling by CQ for you during a contest, yet still allows you to
speak into the microphone. Or it might allow you play back to the
other station a recording of his off-the-air signal. There are many
possibilities for using this feature.
