Hi Brian -
Well, the EQP is the Elecraft QSO Party. Something that probably appeals more
to the contesting-types. It also would be great way for all Elecraft radio
owners to work towards the two operating achievement awards listed on the
Elecraft website -- one for working all 50 states using an elecraft radio, and
one for working 100 other stations that are also using an Elecraft radio.
I was anxious to use my new K3/100 kit ( on the air about 2 weeks now ) to
work towards earning these Elecraft operating achievement awards. When I saw
the EQP listed for March 8/9, it seemed like great timing. :)
