My plan for the K3 Utility is to have a way to save short(er) sets of configuration options, such as the tx eq and mic select / bias / front/back, etc. You'll pick from a tree view of what should be saved. The more you save, the longer it takes to save and restore. You can name the saved config file anything you want. You then restore from that file to get those settings back. My challenge right now is to organize the very large number of things that can be saved into a meaningful hierarchy so that things that you want to save together appear near one another. I can't have, for example, AntiVox at the top of a long list and "Vox gain" at the bottom of the list; these should be organized together in some sort of microphone category.

Second that, Dave. I plan on doing a lot of switching back and forth between DATA A and USB, which require completely different TX/RX equalization philosophies. Hopefully this is on "The List." :-) Bill W5WVO _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [email protected] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
