Just completed the K3 #594. After going thru the reflector archives and reading the many HooYah's about AFX and Stereo reception I must have one hiccup:
I have tried different headphones - one plugged via 1/4" jack on front and then the other via the 1/8" plug on the back (both stereo plugs). Even rotated the headphones on my head to make sure I hadn't gone deaf in one ear! But all I get is 95% of the radio's output in ONE ear only. The other ear has audio but is barely audible. I have played with the AFX settings, the SPKR 1, 2, + HP settings, etc and can't make any difference. User operator error? HELP!
