Gary @ Elecraft Support and others - 1st thanks to all replies of assistance I received from you and reflectorites, but as it turned out after several hours of "microscope" work this weekend I found a solder bridge between two of the hair-like leads of the SMT "U2", pins 7(grounded) and pin 8 (INB) that is on the DSP board (ref dwg #K3 DSP IF: DAC Audio, sheet 3 of 9).
So NOW I finally get to hear that pretty cool stereo 'effect' y'all have mentioned. All AFX delay settings 1 thru 5 and BIN work as intended! THANKS again!
