Has anyone else run into this problem and what did it take to solve this
for you?
I finished the initial stages assembling my new Elecraft K2 Transceiver.
I am at the section for Alignment and Test, Part 1.
When I power up the unit I get "Info 080" on the display. A "4-5-6" reset caused "Info
201", and then I'm back to "Info 080"
I followed up with the section with the troubleshooting
messages to try to find the source of this reading and checked them all
out and have gotten nowhere. All resistance measurements and voltage measurements are correct as
specified in the manual. I also checked out their alternate possibilities of "Info 075"
and "081" as possible problem locations. I have gone over the soldering
with magnification and resoldering anything suspicious. The correct
value components are in. No breaks in the traces or solder bridges have
been found. Any suggestions as to what to check out next ?
