Taking a rig thru TSA in the states is NOT an issue...I got my K3 in FL
in March and simply put it in my rollaboard....they were more interested
in my camera w/attachments...never asked to see inside the rollaboard,
never asked for license, etc. I have done the same with FT897 and
K2....enjoy your trip
